What we built
We built a chat application with encryption on the user’s device, message delivery and notifications. Text, files and voice notes follow the same process.
What the solution enables
Users communicate through the browser or installed web app. They see delivery status, receive notifications and can set messages to disappear after a specified time.
Technology and how it works
The PWA messenger uses client-side OpenPGP encryption, a relay server, WebSocket and push notifications. Automation handles delivery, read receipts, notifications and disappearing-message timers. The core encrypted chat works without generative AI.
